Cat Paws is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of Dalyan’s street cats through neutering, rescue, and rehoming.

Every cat deserves a safe, loving home. At Cat Paws Dalyan, we rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome street cats that cannot return to the streets—giving them the chance to live happy, healthy lives.

 

Can I Adopt a Cat or Kitten?

Absolutely, yes!

We currently have cats and kittens of all ages looking for their forever homes. All cats receive:

• Veterinary care

• Vaccinations

• Parasite treatment

• Worming

• Neutering​

 

Many kittens arrive in poor health and require additional medication, specialist food, and veterinary care.

On average, we care for kittens for around six months, which costs approximately £240 per kitten. This includes food, kitten milk, puppy pads, cleaning equipment, bedding, toys, electricity, vitamins, antibiotics, and more.

Adopting a Cat from Türkiye – Travel Process

If you would like to take one of our cats abroad, here’s what’s required:

• Rabies Vaccination – The cat must be at least 4 months old.

• Titre Blood Test – Performed 30 days after the rabies vaccination.

• 2 x Mixed Vaccinations

• Neutering

• 90-Day Waiting Period – Following a successful titre test.

• Travel Arrangements – After 121 days (around 4 months), the cat is ready to travel.

 

Travel Options

• To the UK

  • Fly to Amsterdam and take the ferry to Harwich (less than 24 hours).

  • Or transport by road via van (approx. 4 days).

• To EU Countries

  • Direct travel is easier, with fewer restrictions and can be done by the new owner.

As a registered charity, we have an excellent cost arrangement with a trusted pet travel company to keep fees as low as possible.
